Accompanying the Redmi 4, Xiamo also brings out the Mi Router 3C in India. This the first networking product to be launched by the Xiaomi in India.
This Mi Router is a 2*2 2.4GHz 802.11b/g/n router with an attached up/down transfer speed of 300Mbps. It comes with 16MB flash storage for the firmware updates, and 64MB DDR2 memory, which is the 8x compares to most budget routers have as Xiami claims. Under the hood, it uses a four copper+PCB antenna system. On the backside, there are 2*10/100Mbps LAN ports and 1x 10/100Mbps WAN port. With 80m range, it supports 64 connected devices.
Reasonably the best part is the Mi- Wi-Fi app, for both Android and iOS. This app makes it effortless to setup the router even for the beginner users and also makes all its features more perceptible and accessible. This is something most routers cope with thanks to their sophisticated UI.
The Mi Router 3C will be launched on May 23 in India at noon as confirmed and is expected to be valued at INR 1,199. You can shop it from Mi.com, Amazon India, and official retail Xiamoi’s new Mi Home in Bengaluru.
