Sometimes, a problem appears significant but eventually turns out to be trivial. So better check a phone’s hotspot settings first, and sometimes you might have to go a step further to resolve it. As hotspot in Android is a complex technology in itself, So instead of digging deeper, you must check your phone’s settings to check any broken connection.

  1. Check the Hotspot connection numbers.

In Smartphone, Open up your widget panel by sliding up the screen, and hold down the Wi-Fi hotspot icon. In personal Hotspot settings, Make sure you didn’t limit the number of connections a phone can allow for hotspot sharing. You can set the connection to any number depending on the number of devices you want to share a hotspot with.

Step 2: In the same settings, locate the “Turn off Hotspot” option and click on it. If you’ve set up the time for disconnecting the hotspot when no connection is made, then change it to “Do not turn it off automatically”.

To go to network and settings, Just type “network” in the Windows Start search bar (or ask Cortana to do that), or you can troubleshoot by going to the right bottom corner, slide up the startup menu bar, right-click on the network and internet and click troubleshoot. Reset your network If those steps couldn’t move the needle, then resetting the network can help you reconstruct your networks as default. To do that, head on to “Network status” Page, and scroll down to the “Reset network” option. This way, you can make sure there is no issue from the PC’s end, and the connected device is all set to make a pairing.5. Flush your DNS via CMD.

This is the last step you can try if your problem doesn’t seem to be fixed. To flush your DNS,

  • Type in “CMD” in windows start search bar.
  • Open the Command prompt as run as administrator by right-clicking on it.
  • Put the command ” ipconfig /flushdns ” in the console.
  • You will receive the message “Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache” once the command gets successful.
  • Next type in “netsh int ip reset“.
  • Restart the Pc once you’ve completed it.
