Panasonic eluga a2 was launched on 1 January 2017. The phone ships with a 3 GB of RAM and is priced at 7,416 R.s ($117). The phone carries a Li-Ion 4000 mAh non-removable battery. As far as the camera is concerned, the phone is coupled with 8M rear and 5M front camera. Elgua a2 weighs in around 168g including battery, and It runs on an Android OS, version 5.1 based on a lollipop.

Further, it flaunts a 5.1-inch display with HD resolution and resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and packs with the 16GB Internal memory and up to 256 GB external memory backed by MicroSD card. The phone comes chipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 and a quad-core processor with the clock frequency of 1.4GHz (higher the clock rate more heat is produced). Panasonic is a dual sim supported but has the single 4G sim.

The smartphone uses a 3GB of RAM to boost up the production of apps; on the other side, it has Mediatek MT6735M chipped in along with Quad-core Cortex-A53 processor. The bottom line is that the phone runs on an Android v5.1 operating system which is far behind than that of Android OREO 8 (Latest). At least the phone could have marshmallow (OS) or Nougat for this price segment.
