Gionee is holding a conference this week in Shenzhen where it’s announcing multiple bezel-less smartphones, and now it’s teasing a few of them on the Weibo. (popular social media site of China) Mobiles are – the Gionee F6 and F205, M7 Plus, S11, S11s and Steel 3.
The teaser pretty much comes with any details outside of the phone names and the fact that they will display as a full screen, or 18:9 screens with slim bezels.
The Gionee F205 allegedly has a 5-inch screen, a MediaTek MT6739 chipset including a quad-core CPU and 16GB of onboard storage, 2GB of RAM, 8MP back and 5MP front cameras and skinned Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
No official features of the Gionee F6, Steel 3, S11 and S11s are yet not teased.
Gionee has initiated a limited edition version of the A1 termed as the A1 Signature Edition. It actually comes with a signature on the back referring to the Virat Kohli, who is an Indian Cricket team captain.
The device has started taking pre-order from today, and those who pre-order now will also receive up to 3000 INR worth of gifts, and that includes a Sennheiser headphones, up to Rs 1280 further INR 2000 off on exchange, Amazon Pay balance, & 45GB, 4G Vodafone data for five months.
The phone itself is similar to the A1 launched in the beginning, this year, with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, MediaTek Helio P10 64GB expandable storage, 4GB RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera, 16-megapixel front camera, 4010mAh battery, and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
Chinese company Gionee has started to show a new member of its A series. Entitled A1 Lite, the mid-ranger is governed by MediaTek MT6753 chipset and features a 5.3-inch HD display.
RAM is 3GB, whereas storage is 32GB. The phone is backed by a 13MP rear camera and a 20MP selfie shooter. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box (with Amigo 4.0 UI on tip). A large, influential, 4,000mAh battery powers the entire setup.
The new phone will be open to pre-order springing June 18. It’s expected to offer a price tag of INR 19000 (around $260). No idea which others market will grab this set first.
