Facebook Messenger now lets High Resolution images to share.

Many of us do love high-quality pics, buy an expensive camera and share moments with each other. Somehow sharing pics are never been so simple if a resolution is above the company’s standard. All the Apps like WhatsApp, Telegram or Snapchat compresses your photos before they reach the person they are being sent to.

Facebook messenger is a popular yet simple app that conveys your message and moments to your destination, that brings an update that it has increased the resolution of photos that are sent to recipients.

The Facebook has been used the resolution “2K” for a while- or 2048 x 2048 pixels. A new update will allow you to deliver photos at up to 4096 x 4996 pixels. So many smartphones currently come with 12 Mp cameras, whose longest dimension is between 4000 & 4048 pixels long. Means the photos which you send from iPhone X, Pixel 2, or Note 8, The person on the other side (recipient) should receive them at full resolution. Facebook also notified the time frame during the photo send will be the same as it is now. So it sounds like Facebook must be using some new kind of advanced optimizer this time.

Currently the so-called 4K resolution images by Facebook, is now hitting on iPhone and Android to users in the US, France, Canada, Australia, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan. Facebook will like to keep up with the 4K images to additional countries ” in the upcoming time.”
